Update

Right now, I am in the midst of exam.. Just took 1 paper today. Will pray hard that I pass!!!!!
One more paper to go, that's on Monday! Hope I will pass!!!!

This exam has made me realise something. As one grow old, memory retention get shorter and it's much harder to digest new information.

It's like for one moment, I can remember the important pointers and the mistakes that I made, the next moment, I am committing the same error again. Also, writing theory answers became harder as I take slightly longer time to let all those information be scanned through in my brain before I can find the suitable answer. Kns!!!!!

Confidence dropped a little.. I remember during my teens, I was excellent in remembering histories and theories. Once, I even got the award for top student in history and literature lor!! I was also able to comprehend information much faster and can do those problem questions faster. Now, it's the complete opposite to the current me.

The only thing I am better now is at time management, restricting myself to finishing all exams questions ahead of time time and to have some spare time to check my workings...

Sounds contradicting hor.. If I take longer time to answer my questions, how can I still have enough time to check through my work??? I dunno, I'm baffled. Hahahaha!!!

After my exam, I going to play a lot of Brain Age to train my brain and increase memory retention... Hope every bit of this will help me in the future! Lol!!!



Also, in November, I am changing my job scope.
From financial accounting, I will be doing :
Corporate Finance
Internal Audit
Merger and Acquisition

Will have tons of analysis and reports to do! Grrrr!!!
In time to come, I will be reporting directly to the CFO and Head of Audit Committee.

But will I have a pay raise to justify the new workload? Dunno leh..hope got lor!
My CFO am getting me to go EY for a 3 week internship to learn internal audit..

Back to studying le, need to cram information into the aging brain of mine. Don't age anymore on me please Brain Wang Wang! I beg you!!!
